You have successfully installed the Alignment REPORTER.
To be able to use the software, you require an identity file. If already in possession of this file, activate from Windows Explorer by double-clicking the file.
If not in possession of an identity file, please visit the Alignment REPORTER home page and find out how you can activate the Alignment REPORTER with a few simple steps.
Please pay attention to the following points:
ROTALIGN Ultra / OPTALIGN smart / NOVALIGN:
For communication between ROTALIGN Ultra / OPTALIGN smart / NOVALIGN and the PC, a USB driver must be installed. The files required for the installation have already been preinstalled. The following procedure is used to complete the driver installation.
a) Connect instrument to PC
Switch your instrument on. Use the supplied cable to connect your instrument to the PC.
For ROTALIGN Ultra use the USB cable ALI 4.502-2
For NOVALIGN use the USB cable SYS 3.521-2
For OPTALIGN smart use the USB cable ALI 12.502-2
b) Activating the installation of the USB driver
In ROTALIGN Ultra and OPTALIGN smart, the process starts automatically after step a).
In NOVALIGN, select 'PC-Communication' followed by any arbitrary user, and then press 'Enter'.
c) USB driver installation
Windows identifies the new hardware and starts the 'New Hardware Wizard'.
For OPTALIGN smart / NOVALIGN installations replace the ROTALIGN Ultra text in the dialog window with the respective device name.
Follow the wizard instructions as shown below:
Click 'Next'.
Select the recommended option and then click 'Next'.
Click 'Finish' to close the wizard.
The USB driver is now installed.
